I don't know if it is possible to detect dev versions by banner-grabbing. That is why this plugin may be not 100 % accurate. But the Nessus plugin has the same limitations.

Denial Of Service
The remote host is running an Apache web server prior 2.0.51-dev. The module mod_dav is vulnerable to a denial of service attack if a special sequence of LOCK-requests is sent. These methods have to be supported by the target system.
If the web server and/or dav support is not used it should be de-installed or de-activated. Install the newest patch or bugfix to solve the problem or upgrade to the latest software version which is not vulnerable anymore. Additionally limit unwanted connections and communications with firewalling.
